The Square of Portraitists

Piazza Navona

One of the main attractions of the Piazza Navona are the three fountains. The central and largest fountain is the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi.  The two other fountains on the piazza are the Fontana di Nettuno (Neptune fountain) at the northern end and the Fontana del Moro (Moor fountain) at the southern end. At the border of  this enchanting square there are numbers of cafés, bars, restaurants where tourists  may rest for a while admiring the beauty of the square and listening to some popular singers singing the roman STORNELLI ( typical popular songs of Rome). Moreover this square is full of portraitists: in a few minutes they can take your portrait. I had been made a portrait in Navona Square...it was  a good job::!!!!
In december this square is full of stands selling any kind of candies for children who may take their pictures with SANTA CLAUSE :!!..

Hurry up when visiting Rome don't miss Navona Square
