The first thing a congress operator should do when picking up a new group of tourists would be to give them a short presentation of herself and the bus driver: She would introduce the service agency that engaged her. Later she would talk to passengers giving information on how the transfer will last. Moreover she would give tourists useful information on the hotel, the registration, services of the hotel, meal hours, money exchange.
She would give plenty of advice on the services in the neighbourhood . The day after she would give information on the program of the day, trying to ask all passengers' questions and fulfill their needs. She would be asked about banks, monuments, shops opening hours and maybe some of the congressmen would ask ther to be accompanied in some tours. She would give useful advice to tourists, especially to pay attention to picpockets and any other information about bus tickets, taxi fares, tube hours. Last but not least she would be asked to talk about the hosting town, its climate and the monuments worthy to be visited.
It's a very interesting job but you are asked to be very patient, sensitive and reliable..!!!
